Successful Delivery of Kiln-Dried Pine to Doha, Qatar

Northern Forest is pleased to announce the successful delivery of a consignment of kiln-dried pine to one of our customers in Doha, Qatar.

The shipment was completed during a period of continued disruption to shipping in the Red Sea, where security concerns and changing routes have caused delays and uncertainty for many cargo owners trading into the Gulf. Through close coordination with our suppliers, logistics partner, DSV, and our team on the ground, the timber reached Doha in good condition and in line with the customer’s specification.

For our customers in the GCC, predictable supply is just as important as price. This delivery shows that, even when key shipping lanes are under pressure, Northern Forest can plan around disruptions and deliver what was agreed.

Quality from mill to destination
Kiln-dried pine is used across the construction and joinery sectors, where consistent moisture content and dimensional stability matter. Every consignment we ship is specified by dimension and grade, and we follow it closely from the mill through loading, documentation and arrival at the destination port.

Our timber is kiln dried to a moisture content of 12% at loading. This makes it more resistant to fungus and staining, which matters most when transit times are uncertain, as they are today. Delivering the quality we promise is important to us, and our customers can count on the timber arriving straight and free of warping, twisting, stains and fungal growth.
Looking ahead

Northern Forest SPC is based in the Duqm Special Economic Zone in Oman and supplies softwood timber to customers across the GCC and the wider Middle East. We are building our order book for the coming months and welcome inquiries from buyers in the construction, formwork and joinery sectors.
